After achieving a stunning series championship victory in 2004, AUDI’s
attempt to recapture the DTM title in 2007 was made with the AUDI A4 Type R13.
With a 1-2 finish in the first race and several top place finishes in following
races, the battle was on with the main rival AMG Mercedes C-Class. However the
Red Bull team prevailed in 2007 with the AUDI No.3 taking the series championship
and No.4 finishing 3rd in a dominant display of AUDI power.
