58480 Tamiya – 1/10 RC Honda Civic Type-R R3 – TT01E JAS Motorsport

J.A.S. Tuned Hatchback

This is a 1/10 R/C assembly model kit of the Honda Civic Type-R R3 which was
developed by Italian official Honda racing partner, J.A.S. Motorsport. The form
of the 3-door hatchback, which features an air-intake on the roof, has been
realistically reproduced. The said air-intake, side mirrors, and rear spoiler
are reproduced with separate parts to provide the model with a sharper presence.
LEDs are installed in the front & rear metal-plated light cases to depict
head (white) and tail (red) lights. The kit includes a sticker sheet to faithfully
reproduce the red and dark gray livery and the Type-R logos.

Evolved Chassis

The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor
and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum balance.
Mounted on the bathtub frame are a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and
gear covers which improve rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod to provide
smooth steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4
wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears
all come together to result in superb driving characteristics. In addition,
racing radial tires with realistic tread pattern are mounted on 10-spoke wheels.
